To My Readers: What I’m doing now and why

Dear Reader,

Basically, I’m making a lot of moves right now. As I mentioned last week, my new substack blog has launched. Go have a look. It takes no prisoners.

Soon, I’ll be posting audios there, as well as articles.

About a year ago, it occurred to me that I was keeping the lid on a lot of issues that were making my blood boil. I was putting them aside because of the COVID insanity.

I’ve written over 450 articles on that boggling scam and the death march it’s enabled.

And then it occurred to me that, despite the fact I’ve posted articles here at NoMoreFakeNews almost every day for 21 years—that’s right—I’ve ignored subjects that interested and excited and motivated and outraged me.

So why not go all out?

As a friend once told me (dozens of times): A WRITER WRITES.

So that’s what I’m doing now—on three blogs all at once. NoMoreFakeNews, OutsideTheRealityMachine, and Jon Rappoport on substack.

But even that isn’t enough. There is flesh and blood experience that fits very well with audio. Spoken narrative.

Things I think of in the middle of the night that spin themselves out into stories. Which need a storyteller.

For example: my research on HIV in the 1980s and 90s. There were so many characters and situations and intrigues. I published my book, AIDS INC. in 1988, but I could have written another book about my experiences while writing AIDS INC. The journalists and scientists and politicians of all different types I met and spoke with. The good, the bad, the ugly. How I stumbled into my method of research—which has paid off to this day.

There are a dozen other books I could write (but storytelling is better) about MANY medical-political scandals I’ve uncovered over the past 30 years. I’ve already published the details of the scandals. I’m talking about the people, the heroes, the crazies, the criminals I met along the way.

Because that’s part of work and LIFE. It opens up new dimensions. It rarely gets to breathe out in the open. But it should.

I’ve written a great deal about art and imagination. But inside that are the many artists I’ve known. Who they were, what they were doing, and why.

And then there is the boundless future ahead. I’ve written about that, too. But there is more to say—including experiences I’ve had that gave me clues and insights and presumptions and a view of time that opened closed doors.

I have interests that many people don’t share. For instance, sports and television. They’re both absurd farces. But they’re also something else. In my life, I’ve known far more athletes than artists. I was once an athlete myself. I know what makes these people tick. I admire athletes I’ve known. They were ALIVE.

All in all, ALIVE is good. Knowing it, sensing it along whatever roads it travels makes us better. It keeps us from closing down, from narrowing our focus to the point where we think we know all there is to know.

I’ve been rebelling and at war since I was 17. I’m 83 now. Rebellion has served me well. Bypassing and refusing possibilities of lucrative careers have served me well. Rebellion has enabled me to CREATE on my own terms.

Which, quite possibly, was my objective all along.

So that’s what I continue to do.

I like beginnings.

This is one.

As always, many thanks for your continuing support and interest.

–Jon

Update: You’ll see my first podcast pop up on my substack page tomorrow. It’s my personal story behind the story, about a few of the key figures in the HIV wars of the 1980s and 90s—especially Peter Duesberg, the biologist who took on the entire medical research colossus single-handedly. I knew Peter. He reminded me of one of my childhood heroes, Jack London’s Martin Eden.

The podcast is also about sharp turns in life—key moments when I found gold in unexpected places…from unexpected people…outsiders I never knew existed.

Writers write! You are so right. Terence McKenna once wrote the following about psychedelics stating that they were a “doorway out of history and into the wiring under the board of eternity.” I believe the same thing can be said about creating art forms including writing. It is language that creates the world.

    Look Inward Angel

    Look inward Angel
Where lies the bloody road to Elysium
Paved with the dreams of tragic eons
And the bones of many a fine refugee
    Trying to escape history’s maelstrom
And its attendant strife and disaster
    Where so many lie buried
    In graves of gilded alabaster,
But you must take that road
    Riding silent wings
From the land that birth ED
    Thy tortured soul
    The blossom of thy being,
It is a road of lonely joy
    That leads through death’s shadow
To the secret garden of thy redemption
    Defying the madness of modernity
    Offering you resurrection sublime
    On the cross where eternity
Dances with the hands of time,
    Where you are all alone
With the gnawing chimeras of the mind
That hunger to clean your bones,
    Seize your birthright of salvation
Take it and find your treasure
    In lands that eluded even
The most storied gurus and sages
    Inspiring guides of mankind
    Gracing all the thirsty ages
With so many drams of unfulfilled hope,
For each life is an adventure
    A lonely hero’s journey
    An odyssey into oblivion
    Appassionata of the Mystery
    And tho we must leap
    Into the yawning abyss
    Tho drawn and quartered
    By the scythe of Kronos
Alas we shall taste Eternity’s kiss,
It is the only way home
    Write your story!
    Sing your poem!
Rise up from this masked wasteland
    Where the sepulchers of modernity
    Have made their last stand
    Screeching at the sky
From where those callous industry dandies
    Issue their edicts and lies
For we must leave all behind
As we traverse the tortured cracks
    In our broken hearts
Where the ghosts of our past
    Haunt us with fine memories
Of lost love and family holidays no more
And in the passion of the mystery
We shall be filled with wonder and awe
    Forgetting our blighted history
Where mundane concerns were never enough
Canceling the act we once played
To the audience of other people’s dreams,
We must go through the looking glass
    Where our Jabberwock awaits us
    In the the wonderworld
    Of the tempestuous unconscious
    Where the heartstrings
Play a requiem for our suffering
    As we pass through
    The pillars of Hercules
Escaping the mad algorithms of the mind
    Where only death awaits
And the blind lead the blind,
    Look inward Angel
    Your destiny awaits thee
You have come a long way
And though the gorgon will pursueth thee
To the gates of fair Elysium
    You have learned
    To with your heart see
    For you have found
    The secret of Eternity
    That eludes time’s arrow
    Beyond the shadow cave
    Of your fading Republic,
For on each step of your journey
You have tasted deep life’s marrow
    Becoming the master
    Of your civilizations fate
    A skilled dreamcatcher!
Oh reluctant fisher of the depths
You have found the sacred pearl
    Formed by the mortal tempest
    Bringer of new worlds
    Where mankind
    Can once again stand proud
    As a new day dawns
    Under heaven’s shroud,
For we are the children of the light
    Dispellers of the darkness
With the fire of the tortured heart
Oh inward angel what you must see
    Beyond life’s agony and ecstasy
I long for your burning kiss
    Please never leave me!

Reluctant Warrior, I love this. Profound. I was not familiar with it. Thank you for sharing.

      • ReluctantWarrior says:

Thank you. I wrote it over the last few days.

      • ReluctantWarrior says:

Audrey, I really can’t take full credit for my writing. When “I” write “I” feel this sense of lonely joy and the inspiration of creative energies or intelligences that seem to infuse the universe. It is a feeling of transcendent inspiration. So when I wrote this it was really a gift expressed through me. I have to humbly credit my muse for such a gift.

This is fantastic. You’re taking very interesting turn to try something different. Isn’t it always exciting when things like these happen? Doing something new.

I’m very excited to start listening to your podcasts 🙂

      YES!

I think it’s been quite some time (2016? Zikascam?) since these two gentlemen had a discussion. Wouldn’t it be great to have James and Jon get together again and discuss present day affairs?

      • David Herin says:

YES, great idea! James Corbett took a hard turn back in 2006-7 and was never the same and became one of the leading voices out of the darkness. I think he and Jon would have a lot to talk about.

    “covid” crime.

  6. Roslyn says:

    THANK YOU, JON!

I am thrilled about your new platforms! As an visual artist I have always felt on the outside of things, and it did not help that I felt there was something wrong with me because of it.

Purchasing your recordings is one good thing that came out of this Plandemic. I purchased POM and EFM and listen to your talks all the time! You have given my life sanity — an understanding of reality that I have always felt but it did not seem reachable.

More people need to hear what you have to say, so I am thrilled you are making that happen!

  7. rae says:

i’ve been waiting for you to do this…thank you

    …a fellow sharp-turner

  8. Audrey says:

YOU feel ALIVE Jon! This is what I have enjoyed the most in your work. So looking forward to more. Excited about the audios too.

“I was keeping the lid on a lot of issues that were making my blood boil. I was putting them aside because of the COVID insanity.”

I can relate to this statement as I have been thinking so much about this “putting things aside” . The grief I was feeling over this COViD insanity knocked me off my feet. And I stayed down. Went silent, not because I had nothing to say, but because I could not speak. It was easier to be alone than surround myself with those who bought into all of this madness and tried to convince me I was “ignorant” or “wrong and selfish”. It was painful to witness so much divide and separation all over the world. This continues to play out. Being seen as “wrong” has never bothered me, but the level of cruelty and arrogance was at a level I had never experienced before…. so I went into a place of stillness – peace. I continued to observe. I couldn’t get enough. I changed the channel many times and the more I observed, the more curious I became. I’ve learned more about life in the last two years than the first 53 years.

~ And so reading your energy and feeling the enthusiasm for new beginnings sounds like beautiful music. It couldn’t have come at a better time! Thank you for the inspiration and congratulations on the new Substack. I’m subscribed!

    • ReluctantWarrior says:

Audrey, that is the essence of Jon’s work, to me, it makes one feel alive over and over again.

    • ReluctantWarrior says:

BTW…that is what the current leadership of the world is trying to take away from us..that sense of being alive and fully engaged with the world…of being a conscious form of intelligence appreciating the wonder and mystery of life.

  9. Kriss says:

The real cause of AIDS; known to health officials since day one

    Posted by Eliyahu Tulshinski

    Mar 28, 2022

AIDS cause reported in all initial cases; covered up because not contagious

Never heard of Dr. Michael Gottlieb, the young UCLA School of Medicine professor who diagnosed the very first five cases of AIDS and immediately identified their cause? You’re not alone…

…Gottlieb noted that patient zero “admitted using ‘poppers.” The Canadian Journal of Psychiatry reported in 1978, just before the AIDS epidemic, on Poppers, A New Recreational Drug Craze:

Amyl nitrite is a volatile yellow liquid [that] comes in fragile glass ampoules which are crushed or “popped” in the fingers and then inhaled: hence the colloquialism “poppers”… the current poppers “craze” began only within the last two to three years…

…Professor Duesberg gives this history of poppers and their extreme toxicity:

Medicine first pioneered the use of alkylnitrite compounds in the 1860s. Because the substances relaxed muscles and dilated blood vessels, they helped patients with heart diseases such as angina … Using only these tiny amounts, terminal heart patients never lived long enough to report dangerous health effects. During the 1960s, male homosexuals discovered the aphrodisiac effects of nitrites.

Few chemicals are more toxic than nitrites. Sodium nitrite, a much weaker, related compound used in tiny amounts as a preservative in meats, has been regulated for years as a potential cancer-causing agent. The alkylated nitrites (poppers), on the other hand, react more violently with almost anything….
