My personal consulting services: “infinity in a finite world”

Over the past few months, I’ve written several articles about my consulting services. This is another one, coming from a different angle.

Several clients have alerted me to something. They each have a unique universe percolating; and in that universe, they have a vision of their life and their future; and that vision actually has no limits; it’s infinitely expandable.

They’re living in a finite world with a potentially infinite vision.

Seeing that and understanding it can make all the difference.

Instead of conceiving an enterprise that is supposed to “fit inside a container,” a person can realize the enterprise is larger than the container, larger than any container. It doesn’t matter whether others realize it. He does.

The world will adjust to the vision. The world will adjust to the enterprise that springs from the vision. For that to happen, the person with the vision has to do one thing: put everything he has into making the enterprise fact in the world. That’s all.

That’s a joke, but a true joke.

To which I answer: why not? Why not put everything you have into your best vision? Why would you want to settle for less? On what basis would you settle for less?

If a person is cheating himself by settling for less, what good thing is he doing to and for himself?

When he doesn’t settle for less, he then begins to see that his best vision is, in fact, endlessly expandable. That’s a striking recognition. That’s a brilliant flash of light.

I have known people—and so have you—who are basically waiting around a cosmic bus station for a fortuitous event to descend upon them and transform their existence. They wait for a long, long time. And nothing happens. Nothing happens because THEY are the fortuitous event. They always have been.

Seeing that and knowing it isn’t the end of all work. It doesn’t mean the person can now sit back and do nothing. Seeing that and knowing it is the beginning of a titanic amount of work, but it is undertaken with tremendous energy which is equal to the task.

The vision and the enterprise based on the vision are ready to go. Whatever they are, they don’t exist in the world. The person will put them there.

He will do that.

This is the great adventure.

  1. The infinite can inhabited our finite vessel. It is God who is love that never ends. The person becomes a spot of heaven in a world fallen into sin. That sin permeates all universes had they exist. God when seen will get rid of all sin wherever it is when his glory shines.

It this like: “Build it and they will come” (Field of Dreams) ?
