Will Donald Trump keep his promises?

What David Rockefeller would now tell The Donald, if David were being honest.

In eye of CFR, TC, Davos, Bilderberg storm.

All right. Hillary and Bill are gone. They’re back in their coffins and their supplies of blood are running low. That’s a good thing. That is a major outcome of the election.

But will Donald Trump now keep his promises?

I’ve framed this piece as a letter David Rockefeller, arch-Globalist-in-charge, might write to President-elect Trump. The updated “payoff” is in the last paragraph.

If Rockefeller were being honest, this is what he would write:

Donald:

I won’t waste time congratulating you. We both know you and America are in for a rough ride. That plucky little demon, George Soros, is already funding and orchestrating thuggish riots in American cities. They do induce a bit of chaos, and I take a certain delight in chaos.

The machinery of Washington DC is ready to chew you up, Donald. There are spies everywhere, and at least a few of them will infiltrate your Presidency at influential levels—if you yourself don’t bring them in because you believe you need them.

I represent and lead an international order, as you know. Our basic plan is to eliminate sovereign nations and erase borders. We must do this, so we can usher in our own global system. We are winning. Surely, you see this.

On the issue of borders and immigration, we want none in the first case and no limit on immigrants in the second case. We want to overwhelm infra-structure and communities with the greatest possible number of people who refuse to assimilate and yet demand special treatment and consideration. We want people who utterly reject America and yet insist on taking whatever they can get from America. Do you really think you or anyone else can stop this wave?

I bring this up, because it represents just one, out of a whole host of strategies, by which we aim to undermine and reduce the country and bring it into our system, absent the precious freedom so many people talk about endlessly.

In other words, Donald, if you are more than a self-serving narcissist who has found a way to stir up the masses in your favor—if you really intend to “restore American values”—you are going to have to give something in order to take something. You’re going to have to make deals. You, of all people, should understand this.

So the question is: what are you willing to give? Where are you willing to back down? Think about it.

Consider a few items on your long laundry list:

Close the southern border. Cancel NAFTA. Get rid of Obamacare. Induce corporations to close their factories in Third World hell holes and come back home. Lay on tariffs. Outlaw special-interest lobbyists. Reform the tax system. Set term limits on Congress. Take people in inner cities off Welfare by giving them good jobs. Root out terrorists at home and abroad. Refrain from making foreign wars. Somehow fire all federal employees who are useless and just taking up space. End Common Core. Build a wall.

Naturally, all these changes you want to make…I want to stop. Why? Because continued corruption is good for my business, and my business is Control. I want to foster the worst in people, so I can enact the time-honored strategy of imposing A Better Order. I want to prove that humans are badly programmed and need correction.

I want one Planet, without liberty and justice for all.

On the outside chance you are more than just another self-seeking politician who has an instinct for the jugular, you will most certainly see you need to start making deals and compromises.

We knew, from the beginning, there was a chance you would win the election. Hillary Clinton, despite all the favorable press she received from our dupes and pawns, was basically a weak candidate. Aside from mouthing the same empty sentiments over and over, she offered little. We prepared for the possibility of your victory. For us and our agenda, your strongest asset was your innate ability to divide the country—or to be more precise, we could characterize you as a great divider. Doing this, for us, is child’s play. Using the idiot youth and the badly misinformed inner city populations, we could paint you as the worst possible threat to America. We like that tactic because, again, we intend to bring down America into a sewer. We want conflict. Racial conflict, for example, is very good for us. We can play that tattered card again and again. We can roll out some very obnoxious characters, when we need them to stir up trouble.

So here you are, about to move into the White House. We can push a plan to make life miserable for you, or we can do business. It’s up to you.

Would you like to see what a sudden economic collapse looks like? Would you like to see…well, I’ll let you imagine the possibilities.

I’ll quote myself here. This is from my 2003 Memoirs: “Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure—one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”

—I’m just reminding you where I stand, Donald. And why don’t I also quote my intellectual lackey, Mr. Brzezinski, while I’m at it. He wrote this in 1969, and yet people still don’t seem to realize where we’re going: “The nation state as a fundamental unit of man’s organized life has ceased to be the principal creative force: International banks and multinational corporations are acting and planning in terms that are far in advance of the political concepts of the nation-state.”

You see, we speak and write out in the open, and the fools don’t get the message.

The Matrix Revealed

Donald, hundreds of thousands of influential press people and academics have sold out to us and our Globalist agenda. They did so long ago. I confess, I despise them. They’re weak cowards of the first order. But we use them, and they constitute, all together, a formidable army. They love the pittance they earn, and they love the small degree of status they’re given. Pathetic fools. But if you try to go up against them, it’s rather like swinging at clouds. What can you achieve? And then they descend on your head and make it rain. It’s amusing.

Have you been reading the editorial pages of the New York Times lately? A contingent of the paper’s little grotesque turtles has been characterizing your election as a disaster for the nation. They pick away at you, they imply the gates of hell await. They’re busy, in their own way, stirring up revolt. NBC News is also predicting doom and encouraging the perception that you are standing on a shore at which minorities can never arrive, and a revolt is necessary. And this is just the beginning, Donald.

In the coming days, I’ll be sending one of my representatives to talk to you. Pay attention to what he says. He’ll have specific “gives and takes” for you to ponder. All your life, you’ve done business. At times, you’ve dealt from what you thought was the bottom of the deck. You have no idea how far down that bottom actually goes. You’re in the major leagues now.

In case you’re wondering, we’ve contacted and worked with every President for decades. Many decades. Things operate best that way.

Meanwhile, watch your back, as they say. I’d hate to have to work with that dim bulb vice-president of yours. You’re a lively fellow. I think we would enjoy each other’s company.

Sincerely,

David Rockefeller

PS—A note on mind control, a subject with which you may not be familiar. Or should I call it mind chaos? Our people exercise a great of control over the medical system, including the psychiatric arena. They specialize in diagnosing and treating non-existent mental disorders with highly toxic drugs. In the process, they consign millions of people to an existence of confusion, despair, and debilitation. We are rotting out the country from the inside. Our other medical drugs are just as harmful. And then there are the vaccines and the gross neurological damage they cause. We cover the waterfront, Donald. Will somebody go up against us? Are you that person? If so, my advice is: go all in. Risk your life. Or: let’s make a deal. It’s the smarter business move.

PPS—Update: It appears you’re opting for “the gracious Trump” rather than “the attack-dog Trump.” I take this as a good sign. You’re getting the message. If I’m reading you correctly, you’re going to leave the Clintons alone and let them fade into the twilight. You’re going to appoint Washington insiders to important posts. You’re going to revise Obamacare and still give Big Pharma (that’s me) pretty much everything they want. You’re going to go soft on deporting illegals. You’re not going to build a wall. You’ll induce a few corporations to come back home from foreign lands, but on the whole the Globalist framework (that’s me) will remain intact. As President, you’re going to back off your vicious attacks against major media (that’s also me). Am I correct in these predictions? If so, you’re going to need some very competent propagandists to run interference for you, because the millions of people who voted for you will rise up in outrage. I can help you out there. I have some of the best minds of this generation on my payroll. As Barack Obama famously said, “We’re all in this together.” Well, not all of us. Just the ones who count. Do you want to count, Donald? Or…do you want to be a hero? It’s an interesting quandary. Wouldn’t you agree?

    More reality. Thank you.

Excellent article Jon. It lays out many of the concerns of those of us who voted for Trump.

The Donald will have to think completely outside of the box to get through all of this successfully. Like Gorbachev and communism in the USSR, surface ‘reform’ won’t get the job done. The crony criminal system is rotten to the core.

The key to the bankster globalists control of Humanity is their fiat ‘debt’ based monetary system. People think their ‘money’ is real . . it isn’t. People think the ‘debt’ is real . . it isn’t. What was ‘loaned’ was fabricated with a few computer keystrokes out of thin air. They use that fraud to plunder real wealth from We The People.

If The Donald understands all this, (and he is a very smart man) . . . he’ll know what to do.

The real deal would focus on one thing with irresistible vigor: JOBS – generated by infrastructure repair.

He’s a builder, right? Every press conference should be held in the field, on a construction/reconstruction site, where real work and the newly employed are clear to see.

The majority of comment should detail progress on that one thing. Only after significant progress is apparent should a second major goal be revealed.

Repatriate corporate funds at tax rates reduced – but higher – than granted in prior repatriations. Incentives for greater savings if 1) commit to & demonstrate real job creation.* 2) agree not to shelter future profits offshore.

      * Favor project bidders willing to commit to 10-year stable employment contracts – wages adjustable to business conditions up and down – must be real deal, no shenanigans!

Hire idle older workers with skills and idle younger workers without skills and set them to on-the-job cross-generational mentoring in service of real projects.

Satisfy national hunger for things solid, constructive, stable and real: THE REAL DEAL

Lesley Stahl: So you were with Paul Ryan, you met with the Republican leadership, what was the– one thing that you all agreed you want to get done right away?

Donald Trump: Well, I would say there was more than one thing, there were three things, it was healthcare, there was immigration and there was a major tax bill lowering taxes in this country. We’re going to substantially simplify and lower the taxes–

Lesley Stahl: And you’ve got both Houses?

Donald Trump: And I have both Houses and we have the presidency, so we can do things–

Lesley Stahl: You can do things lickety-split.

Donald Trump: It’s been a long time since it’s happened.

Donald is as much one of the matrix elite as any of the others. If they had not wanted him to run or win they would not have allowed it; he is merely a divisive distraction. Change will come from the perimeter, not from the center.

    • Joy says:

I have agreed with your stand for quite some time, Louise, but then I had a powerful, lucid dream in the dawn hours after the election, before I even knew that Trump had won. (Bear in mind that I had no vested interest, per se, because I did not even vote.) What I learned there is that he is far more than he appears to be on the surface of our Matrix reality, and he has “played the fool” as part of his plan. Now, I’ve decided to not stay stuck in any one perspective, knowing full well that it could be a trap. Instead, as I am re-opening my imagination to create new realities, I want to hold open the possibility for this man to actually be a visionary with great imagination. If enough of us can do this, I honestly believe we can create a new reality!

A powerful dream for sure. He is more than he plays to be. It’s what has brought him to where he is now. He has heart and soul where most are ruled by another. I also have no vested interest in any political direction. From what I’ve observed:

Mr. Trump is a Man, not a Ruler, and That is what I like most – that he understands this and comes from this place. Over the decades, I’ve observed qualities of integrity, honesty, staunch & direct dealings with others, keeping the individual as well as the whole in mind (maybe not always satisfied, but in mind and in consideration), he listens and has an overall kindness (true kindness w/out sweeteners, not the illusion or fabrication of it) that is lacking in most people of his ‘business’ stature. His success is built on work rather than hand-outs like all others ‘currently’ in high politics. This is where he stands out and from where he operates, which I feel is a reflection of the ‘curve’ grade ‘whole’ of US citizens who are in a perceived great divide and current of shallow and deep accept shuns. That is to say, a man who represents the people cannot be less or more than the ‘curve’ if he wants to create balance or unity of any kind. He is a successful business man and this country is in serious need of a prosperous business plan that functions for the people to bring a sense of economic balance and restoration.

He has much work to do and sees this as a challenge to tackle, not shove under the rug. In fact, I do believe the rugs will be set out to sun and the cleaning has begun, and will most likely take the 4 yrs. he’s in office to sweep, vacuum, and cleanse just to have a clean couch to sit upon. He’s “the Cleaner” and will attempt to bring balance back in (esp. to the budget) to finance ($$$) and will give a bit more to the people where so much has been abused and taken. If you want more than a bit, you’ll still have to work for it. Expect nothing less and nothing more. The next after him will either say, “Thanks dude for cleaning it all up” then bong it out and make a mess; or, Take further action toward the beginnings of some actual visible prosperity, equality, and possibly even true freedom of some kind..

Change happens every day. Which way will it go? I think it’ll be good, esp. when each individual takes actionable care of their own personal needs and makes the self the ‘savior’ in their own personal lives, rather than taking hand-outs and throwing responsibility to the next perceived great wind expecting it not to be a boomerang.

To quote Aug Tellez: “Care is the actual love. If you have care, everything you do is procreating yourself.”

His legacy is built on Bancruptcy. Not paying the people who did the work. That’s not the American dream for most people.

          • Greg C. says:

Jeeesh Tim. Bankruptcy is part of the risk involved where real men build real skyscrapers and enterprises. No one ever gets a guaranteed paycheck by building anything big. With the exception of the government and its deficit of course, which dwarfs all bankruptcies. But don’t worry, your grandkids can pay the interest on that. Maybe. Oh yeah, another part of risk of being a man like Trump is being a target for lawsuits that almost anyone can dream up. The lawyers of course always get their dough, regardless of the outcome. Nice work if you can get it.

Arcadia11, I have followed David Icke for years, so I completely understand where you are coming from. However, in light of what I am experiencing in bringing Imagination back to life, I am an embodiment of exactly what the Archons and their masters fear most–Imagination and Creativity–because they are incapable of anything more than imitation, or mimicry, or duplication. Might this not be the time…as good as any other “time” in this loopy space-time continuum we call “reality”…when the powers of love, creativity, and imagination might actually transform realities? To answer “no” to this question is to merely continue saying what is wrong with the whole mess, assuming we are powerless little ants, and thus continuing the playback of this Matrix loop.

Thank you Joy, you are right. Nothing is greater than our imagination and love that is divinely inspired. It puts you out of reach of tyrants and catastrophe, because everything is energy. This actually makes them supporters of destruction and evil.

    Good riddance!

  12. Terri says:

The people can not sit back and let Donald or anyone “fix” things for them. This is why we are in the mess we are in. The apathy, ignorance and non action of the people. Many have put a lot of prayers and focus and intent into changing the course the globalist bastards wish to implement. This is a good start but not in itself enough. We must take this inertia and allow it to inspire and propel us to continue removing the corruption the masses have allowed to fester by giving their power to someone else and refusing to be responsible. God, or whatever word you would like to use, helps those, who help themselves. We are still at the crossroads and what we, individually, choose right now will take us down one path or the other.

In order to have tyranny, you must have victims willing to be slaves. As we have seen in the last few months, there are unfortunately many victims in America and they are a danger to all life. They are the ones who are ultimately responsible for globalism, not Soros or anyone else for they are the willing cannon fodder and lackeys who feed this collective insanity. I read an interesting quote the other day which is what I also have discovered as the basis of socialism/communism. “Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.”
    Winston Churchill

Anyone foolish enough to think “they” decide and control everything and then sit back, do nothing and let them, is a part of the problem and feeding this lie. They are also suffering from victim consciousness, although they would never want to admit this.
Trump is going to need our help, and he deserves it, does anyone else believe they deserve the best? and intends to achieve this? What else is it going to take? How can each of us choose to be great in our lives, and in turn, bring out the greatness in our communities?

How many can decide that it doesn’t matter who is in the white house for they are the one with the power to choose their own path and are totally responsible for their own lives? Anything less than this is falling for victim consciousness and collectivism. I think Jon makes this point in so many ways, all the time with his excellent packages he offers and what he chooses to write about.

Many people may not know that Donald Trump and his family have attended Norman Vincent Peale’s church since he was a child. I would recommend his books and suggest practicing what he teaches, which is a can do attitude. Americans used to have this attitude, and its up to us to bring this back. This is how we make America great again.

    • Joy says:

As Jon so aptly repeats in so many ways, individual Imagination and Creativity are everything!

  17. Greg C. says:

Yes, it is the agonizing question for anyone who opposes the NWO. Can we trust him? To put it another way, how much integrity does he have? From the comments above, the answers range from “He’s an insider pretending to be our savior” to “He’s even better than he appears, because he has been intentionally dumbing down his message.” The real answer lies in the future, and the future has yet to be created.

Another urgent question is, “Is Trump an accidental person who has stumbled on a movement whose time has come? Or is he a very wise and gifted person that has with his rhetoric tapped into more basic aspirations of the common man?” What we need, of course, is the latter. He needs to be absolutely stupendous in order to undertake what has and succeed. Only he can do it. He is the captain of the ship of state. We want to believe that he got to where he is today because of his unique qualifications. Not through underhanded influence or devious networking with high-rollers. A mere grassroots movement cannot possibly undo all the plans of the NWO on all fronts. We’ve already done our part by casting our vote. We can shout out advice all we want but the die has now been cast. We might as well be one of those fans at a golf tournament, shouting at the ball, “Get in the hole!” Yeah, a lot of good that will do.

I don’t know the answer to these questions. Where do you go to find the best background on this man? Any recommendations?

Personally, I believe “the cat is out of the bag” now, both in terms of Trump having won, and in terms of too many people waking up and saying something, much to the chagrin of the elites, Rockefellers, neocons, Clintons, etc., etc., etc. Many of us are now aware that we came here precisely to be a part of these unprecedented times, and with Imagination, we can now fully awaken and boldly step outside of the Matrix, one individual at a time, and create entirely new realities!

If there was not, in fact, such a landslide victory, why are MSM and so many others falling all over themselves in desperately trying to convince the American people that we are a “deeply divided nation,” and why are they shouting from so many quarters, “This is the end of the world”? (When a co-worker who is a non-voting foreign citizen arrived at work on Wednesday morning, shouting as she walked in the door, “Apocalypse. Donald Trump President!”, all I could do was stare at her in uncomprehending disbelief.)

Yes, I voted for Donald Trump with both eyes open, but I certainly did not believe he would be able to accomplish most of the things he claimed he would. I applaud you for bringing back REALITY, to this topic, because living in fantasy is living in the U.S. as it has been for the last 40 years at least. Thanks buddy…..peace.

In essence, men and women of this world there is, if i may say, a Trump dormant inside of ALL of you…just don’t expect any miracles from Trump, on his own but keep doing your best to unleash your own individual audacity and imagination to make things change around you…whether, he truly means business or eventually ends up being another globalist’s puppet then it won’t be too deep a disappointment for you as you would have already anticipated both possibilities…

“Naturally, all these changes you want to make” reads, with all due respect, like wishful thinking. It is hard to believe that Trump would have gotten as far as he has if he truly wanted to make “these changes.” Rockefeller’s true memo more likely reads like a laconic “we let you get there; now remember the deal we made a long time ago and the consequences to you if you deviate from it.”

It bears repeating that trusting a 9/11 censor to solve any macrosocial problem is extremely risky.

including the United Nations and the United National Academies of Sciences that built the International Matrix of Deciet to take away the inalienable right of the people to govern themselves.”

Many Trump supporters agree with the basic goals of the United Nations, but noble goals like world peace cannot be achieved by paying scientists to lie to the public: The solar pulsar controls the destiny of every atom, life and planet in the solar system. Work with this truth to advance humanity. Or continue trying to hide this truth to destroy the United Nations, world peace and yourselves.

The following is an except of an article from Jon entitled:

5 threats Trump poses, and 6 plans to stop him
Underneath all the familiar charges leveled at Trump, there is one that has the shadow government deep in thought.
    Trump: the loosest cannon.
    https://jonrappoport.wordpress.com/2016/03/20/5-threats-trump-poses-and-6-plans-to-stop-him/

    […]

And if by a miracle Trump somehow gains the Presidency, the sixth option is:

“Let’s get serious.” People with deep knowledge of the political establishment and significant clout would approach him and let him know, in no uncertain terms, that his radical plans are destined to fail. Therefore, compromise is in order. What would President Trump settle for in the real world? What would he give up?

Those are questions whose answers would define his Presidency. He could just step back into his familiar role as the ordinary maker of the ordinary deal.

But before deciding whether to capitulate, Trump might, on the spur of the moment, arrange a sit-down with, say, President Putin. He might lay his cards on the table and say, “Look, this is what I’m trying to do at home, and this is the opposition I’m facing. I think we have issues in common. How can we help each other?”

If that happened, Trump would drive the American neocons out of their minds.

And so now we’ve come to the fifth and greatest threat Trump poses:

    His unpredictability.

As President, he could meet with any world leader at the drop of a hat. He could consult all sorts of unconventional sources. He could find out that solutions to national problems are available outside normal channels. Who knows?

Who knows what an un-vetted President, with a large sense of curiosity, might find out, vis-a-vis a number of issues the public is also quite curious about?

This is why men who have operated in the shadows for a long time are truly worried.

Trump has no visible pattern. When he talks, one idea sparks another and then he goes off on a third. A man like that, with the clout of the Presidency, rummaging around in the halls and basements of power and secrets? Are you kidding?

    […]

Theodore, thank you for posting this link to Jon’s amazing article from March, months before I discovered this site! These words at the end of the article seem particularly apt:

“Don’t assume such a threat [to the ruling elites] could never, ever come in the form of a wise-cracking self-inflating hustler from way back. Don’t assume there is some correct archetype of the person who will blow the lid off the grave of secrets. This isn’t a spy novel in which the hero fits the reader’s fantasy. This is the American Empire, and it has been ruled, for a long time, by lunatics.

It might not be a surprise that a wild-talking cowboy exposes a few of their holy of holies.”

Might we not, in fact, be witnessing the playing out on the BIG screen the forces of Imagination?

    • Allan says:

  35. Greg C. says:

Some of the comments above are in the “let’s be realistic” vein. How could Trump be allowed to get this far unless he was an insider? How can one person dismantle the deeply entrenched plans of thousands of powerful people? It’s tempting to go with that thinking. However, the Matrix is all about being realistic. So rethink it. Is the NWO really in control, in the sense of an unstoppable force? If you are a regular reader of Jon, you should know better. Their control needs our cooperation and assent. It needs us to believe in their power. What Trump accomplishes he does through slicing through their canvas, breaking their rules. Just yesterday, I think, a reporter exclaimed, “He can’t leave Washington without letting us know. I mean, that’s just not done! He’s breaking the unspoken rule. He can’t do that!” Slash! Guess what? Another slice. He won by doing these sort of things, and I see no reason that he would stop doing them now. He knows that they work.

So rather than asking if he can be trusted, we need to ask if he trusts in his own creative power to get things done in unconventional ways, breaking all the rules of the game. The NWO is made up of minions who cannot trust in their own power, so they had to build a powerful, intricate game to believe in. What we are about to see is an epic battle – not a political battle per se – but a battle between creative energy and its opposite. The free person, free on the inside in all the ways that Jon has covered in his writing, and the enslaved, chained to their own system.

  36. Bryce Rasmussen says:

Well, hello dear Mrs. and Mr., oh, let’s call you big boss, shall we? Outside of esoteric entities, that is. We, the people, would like to have a word with you, about what’s coming up. You see, you’ve made several mistakes along the way. It’s okay, so so many empires do it. And no, this letter isn’t about the people rising up and all that nonsense. Oh no, this is merely a tap on the shoulder, a little warning shall we say. You see, there’s one mistake that you have made, and it’s a doozy: you gave us the tools to escape your wee prison. The speed and convergence of information has changed, and the technology, and like others before, you too shall fall. Pride and all that. We remember when you tried to destroy the Gutenberg press. Killing people, destroying machinery, things like that. We see that you have been quite successful in that, no? Oh, and yes, we do know about your fancy bag of tricks -mind control being one of them. We have an answer to that, as well. You see, we the people, well, we took a long time, but we realized something. It’s called the near infinite power of one single human. Those mind control tricks only work in the short term – just talk to Cathy O’brien, she’ll tell you all about that.

But the greatest, the gravest mistake, is that you didn’t see us coming. You didn’t see that torture, and oppression only brings about evolution. A very big evolution, a very major one. Oh, there will be chaos, these things don’t turn over instantly, and you’ll probably try a deadman’s switch at one point. Probably won’t work. So many of us have seen what you do, and we see that there is an almost biblical sense to this. Lies, deception, murder and death only weaken the one doing so. We are less divided everyday, and the ancient technologies of control are outdated, worn out, old. Even the new ones won’t work so much – oh we know that you have some mighty interesting things underground, but against so many millions of people waking up? Well, we’re sure you can work that one out.

Oh, you can have Trump. It was never about him anyways. You can even pretend you’ve won, we don’t mind. You see, something has happened, and, well, hate to tell you this, but there’ll be no revolution, and the cattle shant be slaughtered, at least not too much. Why? Because we’ve outgrown you, we’ve moved beyond you, and we’re really just going to leave you behind. What’s that we hear? Murmurs about demons and aliens and such? Doomsday weapons? Nah, tool little too late, and anyways, those aliens are weak – they keep hiding in the shadows. Hmn. So, maybe you have Trump, but again, we’ve started waking up, and we’ll not be going back to our naptimes anytime soon. There will be turbulence, but we’ll take that on the chin.

So, it was not at all nice doing business with you – what do they call you? Archons or some such grand title? But, evolution seems to be quite real, and we don’t need you anymore, and the pink slip will arrive shortly. Best of luck, signed All Us Woke Up Peoples.

FOOD/AG LOBBYIST LEADING TRUMP’S USDA SHIFT: Michael Torrey, principal and founder of the lobbying shop Michael Torrey Associates, is leading President-elect Donald Trump’s transition effort for the USDA, according to an organizational chart POLITICO obtained Wednesday. Torrey has spent more than 25 years in the agricultural policy realm, and his firm works on behalf of clients like the American Beverage Association, Dean Foods, the Illinois Soybean Association and pizza franchise Little Caesars. Before he started his firm, in 2005, Torrey served as former USDA Secretary Ann Veneman’s deputy chief of staff during the George W. Bush administration, advised Kansas Senator Bob Dole and worked at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

        http://finance.yahoo.com/news/trumps-transition-team-signals-return-gop-establishment-072703965.html

        AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT

Michael Torrey is a top Washington agriculture lobbyist and founder of Michael Torrey Associates. He served for one year as deputy chief of staff at the Agriculture Department under the George W. Bush administration and as a deputy assistant secretary of congressional relations at the department for a year prior to that.

        http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2016/11/meet-soda-lobbyist-leading-trumps-food-policy-team

President-elect Donald Trump ran as an outsider ready to shake up Washington and smash its establishment ways. Yet to run his transition team for ag policy, he has tapped a consummate DC insider who runs an agribusiness lobbying firm.

Michael Torrey has spent his decades-long career twirling through the revolving door between government and Big Ag. According to his bio, he’s been a vice president for the Kansas Grain and Feed Association and Kansas Fertilizer and Chemical Association, an aid to that that famously agribiz-aligned Kansas political giant, former senator and GOP presidential nominee Bob Dole, the vice president in charge of government relations for a trade group called the International Dairy Foods Association, and the deputy chief of staff in George W. Bush’s US Department of Agriculture.

After leaving that position in 2005, it was time to cash in. Torrey launched Michael Torrey Associates, a lobbying firm. Its clients include the American Beverage Association, which recently fought unsuccessful battles against soda taxes in Philadelphia, San Francisco, Oakland, Boulder, and Cook County (Chicago), Illinois; dairy giant Dean Foods, which controls about a third of the US market for fluid milk; White Wave, maker of Horizon organic milk as well as a range of plant-based milk substitutes; the Illinois Soybean Association; Snac International, the “international trade association of the snack industry”; and Little Caesars Pizza.

But Torrey’s biggest account of all, worth $240,000 in 2016 according to Open Secrets, is with the Crop Insurance and Reinsurance Bureau, the trade group for the crop insurance insurance industry. Torrey Associates is the sole lobbying firm representing the group in Washington. These companies won a major prize in the 2014 farm bill, which dramatically increased federal subsidies for crop insurance. According to the Environmental Working Group, federal crop-insurance supports have gone well beyond the reasonable goal of helping farmers manage risk from uncontrollable factors like bad weather. Instead, the group shows, the program “encourages growers to plant crops on land that is vulnerable to soil erosion and discourages landowners from adopting good conservation practices.”

So now Big Soda, Big Snack, Big Dairy, and Big Ag have a sympathetic figure putting together the food policy team for the incoming president. And a GOP-dominated House and Senate ready to maintain agribusiness as usual, too.

  38. Bryce Rasmussen says:

Indeed. Haven’t heard anything about it…so, to clarify what I have said, this whole revolution type thing started with the people, and they are aware of that, aware of possible pitfalls and so on, have possibly evolved beyond the old control methods, or are in process of doing so. And more to the point, singling out an individual is an old old tactic, and doesn’t fly nowadays. People have been pointing out that Mike Pence is an an Evangelical Christian, and is against evolution and such, like he’s ‘dangerous.’. they’ve singled him out, to paint the Trump presidency with a very broad and sloppy brush. I want to know one thing: does Pence play well with others?

And we are in very new territory here, so all predictions are null and void, or perhaps moot, as they say. In the meantime, I will continue to enjoy observing, and participating in what I cautiously see as a rather sudden, (evolution sometimes works that way) change in the human condition. To which I will add: if one sees the esoteric elements of the controlling elite as unobservable, and at the moment unprovable, one is left with the idea that the players are thoroughly human, and therefore, can be dealt with. And that honesty and decency does win. And that, in the final analysis, the easiest way out of the so-called matrix, is simply, to think, to breathe, to live well. There’s no trick to it,There’s no special mentality unachievable by ordinary humans, no mountain peaks to sit on, no adherence to any cult, and pretty much only seeing one’s own prison. And when one sees that, it’s as easy as taking a breath to walk out of it. This, I choose to believe, a large segment of the human race are doing.

Oh, and the bad guys are going to try and make it tough. Illusions, y’know? Which they seem to believe they are the masters of.

  39. Nathaniel Lawson says:

These folks are delusional living in platitudes or maybe both. Let’s talk plain, if you voted for Trump you’ll be calling for his head NLT Dec 2017. See if you’re in this man’s orbit you’ll benefit but most of you won’t because you aren’t billionaires. Trump wants to cut corporate tax rates, dismantle social security, medicare and Medicaid, dismantle ObamaCare and tear up the Iran nuclear deal. The stuff about building the wall and deporting 11 million illegals is window dressing designed to distract and obfuscate. He knows manufacturing jobs aren’t coming back and wages for unskilled Americans will be less in the future than they are now. He wants to add a trillion dollars to the deficit right away to improve infrastructure but how? Republicans would not bring any of President Obama’s infrastructure bills to the floor because they were said to be too expensive. So you cut corporate taxes in half without any change to the current tax law the size of the government must shrink. No food inspectors, no clean water or air to name a few. He wants to spend more on the military and veterans adding more to the deficit. So folks when the country starts spiraling downward I guarantee something will happen to trigger another hot war and that will signal the beginning of the end for America. Also Trump is so new to this until he will be forced to rely totally on someone else because he doesn’t have the capacity or drive to study and become smart at this job. I cannot imagine a President Trump spending countless hours in the Oval Office studying briefing books and getting up to speed on policy. It will cost $1 million per week to keep the Trump family in NYC because the wife has decided not to move. Folks, you’ve been had and this will become a painful experience for all of us! God help America???
